Coal Mining: Overview

OSE has embarked upon Coal Mining projects with a vision to establish itself as a Mine Development Operator. Currently OSE has bagged four coal mining projects from Bharat Coaking Coal Ltd., and Mahanadi Coalfields for a total value of Rs.120.00 Billion for extraction of 16.98 million MT of Coal and removal of 61.55 million CM of over burden. Two of these projects have been successfully completed and hended over to the client.

Aggregate Mining

Incorporated in August 2008, Oriental Aggregates (OQM) is a Joint Venture between OSE (Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt Ltd) & AvH ( Ackermans & Van Haaren) of Belgium and is headquartered in New Delhi, India.In the current year 2020 Oriental Structural Engineers has increased its stake holding to 100%.

Having weathered initial resistance a fate common to every innovative idea in a change-resisting environment, OQM has quickly found acceptance and is today preferred by all quality-conscious construction industry leaders. Oriental Aggregates is now a leader in the production of high quality stone aggregates.

With several operational rock quarries, OQM now has a range of construction materials that are collectively referred to as Aggregates – fine and coarse aggregates. Aggregates from OQM have been used for major Infrastructure works that are part of Golden Quadrilateral Project and the Yamuna Expressway between Noida and Agra. The new Formula 1 race track ( Budh International Circuit) in Greater Noida was built using high-Quality aggregates from OQM.

Bharat Coaking Coal Limited (BCCL) extraction of 21.28 Lakh MT of Coal from seams at Nichitpur colliery Sijua area. Bharat Coaking Coal Limited (BCCL) extraction of 70.69 Lakh MT of Coal from seams at Akashkinare colliery Govindpur area. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) extraction of coal through surface Miner at Kulda OCP of Basundhara-Garjanbahal area. Bharat Coaking Coal Limited (BCCL) extraction of 77.88 Lakh MT of Coal from seams at Govindpur colliery Govindpur area.
