OSE have so far executed bituminous concrete works on national / state highways, city roads and various airfields to the tune of more than two million cubic metres, Quality Concrete Pavement to the tune of more than 2.50 million cubic metres, Earthwork to the tune of more than 50 million cubic meters and embankment by dredging and hydraulic  filling at number of airfield for runway, aircraft parking bays, national / state highways, in addition to PCC/PSC bridges involving well and pile foundations and cross drainage works during the last 35 years with most modern and sophisticated plant and machinery and latest technologies.  On the whole we have successfully undertaken Construction / Strengthening  Resurfacing of Runway / Taxiway / Apron with Flexible / Rigid Pavements at the following Airfields:

MAJOR WORKS EXECUTED

OSE have successfully completed World Bank Funded 197Kms. National Highway projects in Bangladesh. In addition, it has also successfully executed one of the largest airfield projects at Lengpui in mountainous terrain in North Eastern State of Mizoram in India at a total cost of Rs.600.00 million (1995 price) in a record time of 24 months in most difficult working environment and climatic conditions involving intricate logistics, Noida Bridge Project – Construction of Approaches at a cost of Rs.959.49 million (1998 price)in 25 months, 2 months ahead of schedule and Four laning of Nagpur – Adilabad Section of NH-7 in Maharashtra State at a cost of Rs.598.90 million under North – South – East – West corridor in Maharashtra in 25 months, 5 months ahead of schedule wherein bonus was earned for early completion for these two projects. Moreover, OSE also completed World Bank Funded 4-Laning project at Indore Bypass and Indore – Dewas Section of NH-3, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, comprising Cement Concrete Pavement for the first time in India at a cost of Rs.2,232.80 million (1997 price).

 

The Airfield project in Mizoram executed in 1998 was one of the largest in Mountainous Terrain in North Eastern State. OSE completed most of the works of large magnitude and complex nature 1-6 months ahead of contracted schedule.

Other projects that have been successfully completed are :

  • Kerala State Transport Project, Phase-1, Upgradation (KSTP-III) Total length of 49.23 Kms., for Keral Public Works Dept. at a cost of Rs.1118.75 million funded by World Bank.

  • Up-gradation of State Highway from Hungund to Belgaum in Bagalhot and Belgaum districts (Contract No.: U-8) in the state of Karnataka at a cost of Rs.1600.00 million funded by World Bank.
