PARTICIPATION IN NHDP

OSE has actively participated in execution of National Highway Development Program of Govt. of India wherein it successfully completed 4-laning of 3 major contract Packages of ‘Golden Quadrilateral’ in the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh at a total cost of Rs.5,300.00 million (US$ 120.00 million) as per contracted schedule despite number of hindrances faced by it, particularly the two projects executed in Bihar.

 

PROGRESS ON CURRENT PROJECTS

Currently, OSE are executing following major highway contracts forming part of Golden Quadrilateral and North – South – East – West Corridor of National Highway Development Programme (NHDP) and  State Highways funded by  World Bank and Asian Development Bank at a total cost of Rs.8,000.00 million (US$ 180.00 million) in the states of Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu   for National Highways Authority of India, and Tamil Nadu PWD:-

 

(i)   Allahabad Byepass Project in the state of  Uttar Pradesh (Contract Package- ABP-3) – Four laning of NH–2 at a cost of Rs.5052 million (US$ 113.70million) with 50% participation.

          

(ii)  Tamil Nadu State Highway Project in the state of Tamil Nadu (Contract Package- TNRSP-01) at a cost of Rs.6117 million (US$ 137.64 million) with 33% participation.

             

(iii) Four laning of National Highway Project in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh (Contract Package Nos.– MP/UP-1 & UP-3) at a cost of Rs.2660 million (US$ 59.85 million).

 

PARTICIPATION IN BOT PROJECTS

OSE has successfully commissioned REWA Byepass project on BOT basis for Ministry of Shippin, Road Transport and Highways at a total project cost of Rs.50.00 Crores in July, 2007 as a Concessionaire with 50% participation.

 

OSE as a Major Partner of three Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) are executing following highway projects on Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis as a Concessionaire for National Highways Authority of India:-

(i)	Improvement, Operation and Maintenance including strengthening and widening of existing 2-lane road to  4-lane dual carriageway from Km.12.600 – 84.700 of NH-3 (Indore – Khalghat Section) in the State of  Madhya Pradesh	Rs.5300 million  (US$ 119.26 million)
(ii)	Improvement, Operation and Maintenance including  strengthening and widening of existing 2-lane road to 4-lane dual carriageway from Km.15.000 – 63.000 of NH-11 (Agra – Bharatpur Section) in the States of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, and	Rs.2000 million  (US$ 45.00 million)
(iii)	Improvement, Operation and Maintenance including strengthening and widening of existing 2-lane road to  4-lane dual carriageway from Km.50.000 – 100.000 of NH-6 (Kondhali – Talegaon Section) in the State of   Maharashtra	Rs.2700 million  (US$ 60.75 million)

 

 

These projects are to be completed in 30 – 36 months. OSE propose to invest Rs.11,000.00 million(US$ 247.52 million)from its own sources.
