The Screening Committee of the Project Export Promotion Council of India, a Government of India agency under the Ministry of Commerce, has granted clearance to OSE to undertake Road/Highway and Airfield projects internationally, without any financial Limit .
- In the national scene, OSE is actively represented in number of policy making bodies of Government of India:-
Chairman of Project Export Promotion Council of India.
On the Council of Indian Roads Congress.
On the Committee of National Highway Builders Federation.
- Received bonus for early completion of following projects:
- NOIDA Toll Bridge Project, 2 months early
- Nagpur – Adilabad section of North-South Corridor for NHAI, 5 months early

OSE has also completed World Bank Funded 4-Laning project at Indore Bypass and Indore – Dewas Section of NH-3, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, comprising Cement Concrete Pavement for the first time in India at a cost of Rs.2,232.80 million (1997 price).
- The Airfield project in Mizoram executed in 1998 was one of the largest in Mountainous Terrain in North Eastern State. OSE completed most of the works of large magnitude and complex nature 1-6 months ahead of contracted schedule.
